Robert graduated from BYU in April with his Masters in Accounting! He has the brains for both of us ;) But seriously, the accounting program at BYU is no walk in the park; it is one of the nations best programs! Needless to say, I am so proud of him for his accomplishment because I know how hard he worked and how many nights he stayed up WAYYY past bedtime studying. I am so grateful for his dedication and desire to learn because one of us needs to be able to help the kids with their homework! ;) All jokes aside, he is dedicated to everything he does and I am grateful for his hard work! Now he has a good job and gets to work everyday to provide for our family! I am so thankful for him!
Rob's little sister Andrea also graduated on the same day, 9 months pregnant (on her due date to be exact)! It was fun to have them share this special day, and congrats to you, Anders!!!
We left Lyla at home with a babysitter that is why she is not in any of the pictures. I would have missed the whole graduation if she joined us, too busy body for that type of thing.
To celebrate Rob's graduation, we jetted off to Mexico a couple weeks later! We left Lyla home with the Grandma's and we enjoyed a week just the two of us. It was so much harder to leave Lyla than I thought it would be, I don't know what I was thinking it would be like, but it was hard. I may or may not have bawled like a baby. Once we were there and sitting by the beach drinking Pina Colada's it was a little easier ;) She had more fun with her Grandma's anyway and didn't miss us for more than one minute.
We went to a city just off of Cancun called Riviera Maya and we had the nicest time just relaxing and spending time together. One day we did an excursion and went to Tulum and Xel-Ha which was kind of like a water theme park. At Xel-Ha we floated down this river and went snorkeling, zip-lining, jumped off cliffs, and explored the beautiful scenery. If you are planning a trip to Cancun soon, this is definitely worth a stop. The other days we sat by the beach/pool and read books, soaked up some sun, played sand volleyball, and floated in the ocean. It was the perfect combination of relaxation and having fun at the same time.

This is what we snorkeled in.. not tons of fish but still fun.
This is where we spent most of our time.
At dinner in Sombrero's...because we are in Mexico
Till next time...
